The E.Root-Server,
located in British Columbia, Canada was re-deployed in November 2006
and provides resolution for the whole Inclusive Name Space. The
E.Root-Server guarantees the performance and stability of Internet
services in Canada and North America. This server will also reduce
DNS response time for a large part of Canada.
Matt Richards,
the Root-Operator of the E.Root-Server says: "We believe
in developing the Internet to its fullest
extent. We are proud to offer our services to Public-Root because
we see it as the future of the Internet. We
believe that without the freedoms Public-Root gives back to the
Internet, The Internet and networks
based off of the Internet will reach boundaries of which they
will be unable to surpass."
