The i.Root-Server,
located in Chennai, India, was deployed in February 2011 by TcTech Ltd.and
provides resolution for the whole Inclusive Name Space and the
Public-Root. The i.Root-Server guarantees the performance and
stability of Internet services in India and the larger part of Asia.
This Root-Server will provide extra resiliency in resolution
to Asia in the event of a loss of physical connectivity to the
rest of the Internet. This server will also
reduce DNS response time for a large part of the Far East.
