The M.Root-Server,
located at the University San Pedro in Chimbote Peru was deployed
on April 2010
and provides
resolution
for
the whole
Inclusive Name Space (INS) and the Public-Root.
The M.Root-Server
guarantees
the performance
and stability
of
Internet services in Latin America. The university has a stable connection to the Internet. In addition the root server will also reduce
DNS response time for the larger part of Peru and surrounding countries.
Ricardo E. Quezada Sánchez, operator of the M.Root-Server
is with the University San Pedro and says: "We are very pleased to support the growth, stability and accessibility to the Public-Root."
