The M.Root-Server,
located in Stockholm, Sweden was deployed in February 2005 and
provides resolution for the whole Inclusive Name Space and the
Public-Root. The M.Root-Server guarantees the performance and
stability of Internet services in Central Europe. This server
will also reduce DNS response time for a large part of Western
Europe.
Sander Fierloos, operator of the M.Root-Server and
Program Development & Analysis with Public-Root said "I
am proud to operate the M.Root-Servers, and I am looking for volunteers to deploy more
instances of the M.Root-Servers."
